Yaday Collective is a social business that aims to empower displaced Syrian artisans/women to (re)build their lives with their own talented hands. Refugees need hope, and a way to (re)build their lives, wherever they are. Many displaced Syrians (especially women) hold the potential to do so in their own talented hands, by means of different artisanal skills. Our belief is that they can succeed in building a life that they choose if only steered to the right opportunities, provided with access to the market, and ignited in their self-belief. We support displaced Syrians to have control over their futures, build their careers with their own hands and tell their own stories with no distortion.

Our Cohort II 2017 Program launched in June of 2017. The Cohort Program is a free, six-month incubation program for social entrepreneurs that provides affordable legal advocacy and financial, marketing, and resource counseling. Participants receive access to our educational materials and membership to Good Counsel's bronze level of service, providing them with five free hours of one-on-one legal counseling. Through our cohort, we are creating a community of socially-driven, innovative, and dedicated entrepreneurs. We believe that this community enriches each and every one of our clients and partners, and therefore enriches the diverse and important work that they do in their respective fields.

Each Cohort II 2017 member has been awarded a name scholarship to cover the costs of participating in the program. In creating these scholarships, we honor the memory of remarkable individuals who have supported and inspired our work at Good Counsel.
Meet the members of our current Cohort Program and the honorees of the Name Scholarship Program below!
